    Cheater in welding helmets

    Hey does anyone know if the helmets Longevity sells, has a place to for a cheater.

    Depends on what a cheater is I guess. Fill me in, I have one of the Longevity helmets.

    Thanks Gadget, I don’t think a photo would help. I have looked at the specs. on Simon's helmets and I haven’t seen anything that states they will. I found that some of millers helmets have provisions for it.

    I finely got a new helmet that would accommodate my magnifier. Thanks to all for the help. I picked a 90002v 3M/Speedglas.

    I use my reading glasses under my hood when i am doing fine detail tig work i never was a fan of the slide in cheater lens

    I just use my regular glasses. I have never tried a helmet with a cheater lens. Maybe I am missing out!
