Looking to buy new Mig welder

Hello I am a home hobbyist-I weld mostly on my old VW body panels. I am looking to buy a new Mig welder that can run on 115v/220v. I would like to stay around $700-$800 if possible any suggestions? Home Depot has an everlast poweri-mig 200 anyone have any experience with this unit? Thanks

I can't vouch for the quality, however, I've heard positive things about them. One of the New Vulcan MIGMax 215s from Harborfreight will do dual voltage 120/240 and run MIG and Flux costs are more often around 680, yet utilize a 20% off and you're down to $480~. It'd be useful for a starter, if he's uncertain, or simply needing to get his feet wet. Once he's got some funds built up if he sticks with it then you can improve him to get something better like a Miller, Everlast, Lincoln, etc.
