Thread: No Arc

    No Arc

I have the original blue Longevity M200 which is practically brand new & tried to fire it up yesterday. Everything looked fine until I pulled the trigger and no arc. Everything looks normal/correct to the extent that I took a multi meter and check voltages and continuity from the wall plug to the GND Clamp & Gun.

Everything inside looks good, no burnt smell or loose wires and to be honest, this unit looks new!

I recently wired a new 30amp wall plug (2 hots legs and 1 GND). Should the GND be the earth ground or the utility ground? My box has both.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could be missing?

The ground wire should connect to the utility neutral, that is connected to earth ground as well at the utility input.
