    200sx

Been a long time the last time I was here and to weld for that matter but have had time lately and decided to stick weld up some 1/4" for a jack adapter for the Vette and having a problem. Bought some fresh 1/8" 6013 rod and struck an arc but at 200 amps I hardly got anything. The steel was kinda rusty but I ground everything clean. Any suggestions?

Yeah I tried unplugging that and the panel plug. Just had the ground and and electrode connected. Well and left the tig gun connected.

I think I figured out the problem. I didn't set the switch to panel control, I had it set to switch/pedal control. DOH! I should have time to try it out tonight or tomorrow.
