    Hi Everyone,

We are ready to show off the ForceCut 42i - this is an affordable, and yet very powerful 40amp plasma cutter capable of cutting 1" or 25mm - it can also work on both 110v and 220 with PFC (Power Factor Correction or Auto Voltage) allowing your machine to run at maximum performance no matter the power. It also enables this unit to be versatile with the ability of 110v power. I can honestly say it can stand up to pretty much anything out there and will most likely beat it! I am eager to see if there are any takers on here to put it up against a PowerMax 45 or Cutmaster 42.

In part 1 of Tim's video, he shows it operating on 220v and will be doing 110v cutting in part 2.

I also have attached the spec sheet for it for your reference.

We are taking pre-orders on this model, and our limited stock has already been sold. If you are interested, and because we want to get a buzz going on this model with some reviews, we are offering them to the first 5 forum members for $800 shipped instead of the $1000 sticker price. The unit will come with our standard 5 year warranty! This is the best plasma cutter LONGEVITY has ever carried and one that will be part of our line for years to come.

the machine looks awsome, the new torch is a major plus along with the 110/220 adaptor cord.
longevity looks to be moving forward with the build of the 42i

Question? is the ground hard wired to unit or plug in with dinse connector?

disreguard last post, I see it is hard wired.
what is the duty cycle for 110 volt ? it looks to be 40% @ 40amps for 220

The duty cycle is rated at a 10min 40% Celsius temp setting, which is pretty good! As far as the hard wire, its stress tested, but we may do a din instead in the future. Not sure yet.

Don't forget to let us know if / when you decide on whether it will go DIN!
Is it OK to want to break something just so that you can weld it back together?

I can also throw in a long term endurance test for free
