    I dont see why regular limit switches wouldnt work.. maybe change your mounts to mount the trigger arms vertical or try another style of switch and have the arm and switch on the bottom..

    If your cutting that at 40amp, you should be fine with the speaker wire, the noise will trip a limit switch pretty quick..... later on if you cut any thicker and larger stuff and you start tripping...
