The forum is not about machine failure It is about welding.

Maybe there are no posts for this brand of welder because people that have one can not read!!............ HA! HA!
OR maybe the owners are to busy welding and do not have time for the forum...........

We like Hypertherm, but our new IGBT machines will make spending triple on a hypertherm unit a bad financial decision. The new IGBT units are coming shortly and the 60amp cutter will perform as good as the PowerMax 45. But if you do buy two machines to trade in, please buy them from us! 8)

I had a Hypertherm Max40 that failed with very low hours (it had an hour meter). It was barley over the warranty period and Hypertherm gave no consideration to the low (10 hours) of use and the otherwise excellent condition of the machine. My money will not go back to them for nothing.
The customer service I read about with Longivity is why I purchased my LP-60 from Simon.
