Hey their, I too am a Locksmith, doing it part time now, started in 1987 by correspondence course(Locksmith Institute, and Lockmasters) here in Alberta and in 88 got my pick license, and have had it ever since and operated my own company in the late 1990's with service van, when I parked the van I through the keys in and walked away for a spell.Still pick for practice daily.Keeps my hands occupied.
Got really complicated here in alberta they started a trade school to legitimize the locksmith and create a journeyman system and all that did was put out a bunch of half trained locksmiths. Then did a bunch of regulation changes again to the secuirty industry. Sorry don't have the time right now and no high speed connection, plan on building a cnc plasma cutter and make security doors and windows with fancy designs.
Good Luck on your search though.
