:jokerHere is a router table I built for my daughter its about 2’ X 3’ . The red box is the electronics package it uses a USBCNC cad so she and hook it to a laptop. It has a 2.25HP Hitachi router to do the cutting. I cut some of the parts with my plasma table and it uses similar sliders to the ones I developed for the bigger table.

I like it! I use that router (or very similar). Very reliable and can get somewhat quiet at lower RPM's. Thanks for the post.

Here is a video of the table I made a pen holder today and used it to test the axis movement calibrations.
The first pattern was drawn and then I move the table around and started froma different location. It over wrote itself 3 time without error. The I drew a square and 3 circles size was checked against the DXF file ok.

I made a drag knife mount for the router table and cut a vinyl label for my plasma cutter and one for a name on my daughter’s tools/electronics box. The knife blade holder and sign vinyl was bought from EBay for a very fair price.

Very nice Tom, maybe I should look into a drag knife.

Yes it was a very easy process with what materials that are availed. I was able to set sheetcam up with a tool profile for the knife which made it easy to cut the vinyl. Other things can be done also like gaskets or wall art with different vinyl (not as permanent glue) seems to be a good way to label or improve the looks of a project.
I bought another holder and will be making a adapter for my plasma table so I will have one too. I already have it set up with a router mount and a platform like on my daughters table only bigger.

Have fun
