Miller 180 Autoset

I recently purchased a Miller 180 AutoSet MIG welder, which failed after about 1/2 hour use.
The "AutoSet" feature quit working, and the wire-feed became noisy and intermittent. I returned it to the dealer, and after almost two months it still hasn't been returned. Pretty poor service for a premium priced machine if you ask me.

Has anyone else had a similar problem, either with the "autoSet" or with the slow service?

I have the Miller 140 auto. No problems. You first have to set it manual for the first strike, then set it over to auto. Be sure to use the gauge on thickness of your metal. Also the 180 is 220volt and be sure you have enough power.

I have the same welder and no problems. I've only had it for about 3 mos. and before that all I had was a Lincoln tombstone and a torch set.
Have you ever said, "I should've had one of these years ago" great machine.
