First plasma cut out using the LC416D

Ok no laughing! Keep in mind I have never used a plasma cutter before last Sunday. I used metal from an old DVD player that died on me a long time ago. this was done free hand and I cut the butt end off by mistake! Oooops! I plan on trying again and smoothing it all out with my grinder and hitting it with the hammers to give it a better look. I'm trying to get a feel for the cutter and the settings on the machine.

I haven't done much yet w/ my new LC-416D. I did get it up and running ( only the plasma )and did a test piece. I cut a truck leaf spring ( ripped it ) " to the taper of about " spring steel. I thought was good after I finally got 220v hooked up. 110v didn't do so well. I for some reason expected a cleaner cut though. It pretty much looked like what you get with oxy/actl. torch.
