So I think I am going to buy a 200PI. Just wondering what I should get in the way of initial consumables?

I'm a garage / hobbyist. I'll be trying my hand at both CRS and AL TIG welding. So which tungsten electrodes to start with, or a good general mix of ?

Also, for plasma, I'll pretty much be starting with light to medium gauge steel (Home Depot or misc scrap)

I was figuring on spending about 50-75 bucks for my initial consumables.

The 200PI should come with about 5 tips and electrodes for the plasma. You should purchase some gray 3/32 tungsten. That is a good all around size and will work on steel and aluminum. Longevity sells tungstens. You may want to purchase some extra plasma consumables since there is a small learning curve where you may use consumables quicker than after you gain experience.

Yes I agree with Gadget. Only one other thing, that is ARGON.
