I had someone over from another forum today to watch the aluminum pour. He has his own shop and has welding equipment but was interested in TIG. I offered to let him take my LS200PI for a spin today and he was very impressed. He did some TIG welding and some plasma cutting on 1/4" stock. I think we have a new potential customer and probably a new member here on the forum as well.
He's a great guy and we had a really good time today.

I send alot of "new"guys over from other forums when they say they are looking for new machines, their are people that don't know enough about welding to know the companies. It is nice to here someone that is reffered follow through.Last week a welder I referred called in for a price, was happy with telephone service but he had found a new/used import tig+cooler for a really good price, and is going with that but stated he will be back here for a plasma cutter. He was looking for a dealer close to him in Tx.
So keep up the good work, returning those calls, it all pays off.

I was waiting to join the show program when I got set up for tig, but I still haven't got any tungston or a gas bottle. Stick and plasma have worked great. I've been saving up for big gas bottle, but I keep having to raid the fund for emergencies. I'm still shopping for a plasma table and tring to work out a deal with Torchmate. Hey Don. It was right at 40 when I woke up this morning. It was in the mid 60's today. Luckily the wind was not blowing up a storm. Simi can get real windy! We had a bit or rain over the weekend. Not much but at least we got some. The hills are getting green.

I am awaiting my re-sellers license here in the Meridian/Boise Idaho area. Once I get it, I will be ordering at least three units. I plan on purchasing the PRO MTS200, the TIG WELD 200EX and the Forcecut 42i. Hopefully I win the contest today to help pay for most of this purchase! That would be the ultimate surprise of the year for me! I will be happy to let anyone if the area try out this equipment if you wish to. I am also a welding instructor at our local community college, so I can also critique your welding skills, and give you some good advice, tips and tricks to use.

I also instruct a beginners welding course where we meet at the community college two nights a week for three hours each night, or on one Saturday for 6 hours. If you are interested, please let me know for costs, it's actually very affordable. My boss and I are working on a mobile welding lab right now so we can bring up to a dozen welders out into the field to rural areas to teach the workforce and I am in the works, convincing my administration on going all Longevity Equipment"! Wish me luck.

I wish I had tried first. If I had I wouldn't buy the 42i.
Here it is a year after purchase and it still doesn't work.
Very frustrated!!

The machine I have, 42i, has already gone back to Longevity once. The company CLAIMS that there was nothing wrong with it. When I got it back it still did the EXACT same thing that it was doing before - not working !! That's why I should have never purchased it. On a 1 - 10 scale of machine/company performance, 10 being best, I'd have to give them a 0 (zero).

We would like to hear more details about how the unit is not working, for example, does it turn on at all, does the air come through with no arc, etc. Please email us the details of your interaction with our service department and details explaining the issue you are having with the machine now at tech@lwelds.com

We will have management watch for your email, it would also be helpful if you could send us information on the purchase of your machine, including when and where you purchased it. If you have a copy of the invoice, that can be extremely helpful.

Thank you, we look forward to hearing from you.
