This weekend I made a luggage rack for my motorcycle. I tack welded it with my dad's mig welder and then finished welding the joints with my Tig welder. I am hoping to attach my dog's crate in the back so I can take her places :)

Good Job. A good deal of patience needed for fitting all those round bars.

Cool - that will be way better than the dog hanging her head out of the car window

Lucky Dog..... she must not be too big.

Skyla is around 40 lbs so fairly small but not tiny. For me she is the perfect size. Big enough to be a real dog but small enough to be easy to transport / pickup.

I attached a picture of me and her. Yes I am a little bit attached to my dog. :)

yes, without doubt, they are our best friends.

I could not get my last dog, a chow/shepherd mix, to ride. She had a huge dislike of my motorbike and would not come near it, but was always the first one in any car, especially if it looked like was going to go somewhere...... she loved to ride, just not on my bike (I think it was too loud for her) I really miss her (gone at 14, a little over 2 years now)

I am going to try and be very careful when I first introduce her to the crate and bike I don't want her to get scared of it. My plan is to just put her in the crate on the motorcycle sitting. Then wheel the bike around with no engine giving her treats the whole time. She has a very good memory for scary things. She has a dog house which she is very afraid of because my gf at the time tried to force her to go inside. If she hates riding the luggage rack will still be useful for things.

She is beautiful. She will definitely be a good co-pilot! Thanks for sharing Eric.

Looks a lot like my old dog Penny. She was a good friend for 17 years.
